5 Things I Want to See in Daredevil's Season 3

Hello all!
I have finished Season 2 of Daredevil, and my review of the final four episodes will come on this week's Sunday Review. Although the third season of Daredevil is not official yet, I'm willing to bet it will be in the next few weeks. Here are Five Things I Want to See in Daredevil Season 3 (Note : HEAVY spoilers from Season 1 and 2)

5. The Hand's Intentions Explained
So remember how in the middle of the season The Hand were putting stuff into people, draining them of their blood? Yeah, me too. But the reason why The Hand were making people into zombies was never explained. I'm sure the reason for this is because they want to explore it in the third season, hopefully. Also, they were not clear about why they want the Black Sky so badly. All they said was "it will let them do anything." That's pretty vague and I hope they explain this further.

4. Wilson Fisk's Escape from Prison
Wilson Fisk is by far my favorite character in Daredevil. I was so excited when he made an appearance in Season 2, but disappointed as he hastily made his departure. He relentlessly threatened Matt by saying he will get out and he will destroy him. Well I want to see if his word is true. Seeing his release from prison and him likely teaming up with Madame Gao to take over Hell's Kitchen once more will be just amazing. And of course, he will first set his sights on Daredevil.

3. Nelson and Murdock's Revival
Some of my favorite parts of Season 2 involved legal kung-fu over actual kung-fu. The courtroom scenes were great, and so were the planning and legal games that the attorneys were playing. With Nelson and Murdock being disbanded in Season 2, I would be very disappointed if Foggy and Matt don't get more time working together. I think that this one, more than all the others, is simply inevitable. The whole lawyer by day thing is pretty core for Daredevil, and I really hope that they don't just abandon it. I mean Matt has to have a day job right? He can't just live off of Elektra's money right?

2. Elektra's Elektric Return
So this is pretty much confirmed to happen, but there is a chance that it won't be an integral part of the season. Elodie Yung as Elektra Nachios was one of the highlights, among many other highlights, of the second season. She was slick, badass, and her mental BDSM with Matt was very fun to watch. (Fun fact: The fifth episode of the season was titled "Kinbaku", which is a type of Japanese BDSM. It is kind of representative of how Matt enjoys Elektra doing terrible things to him.) Her death was a pretty big surprise for me, and the hint of her resurrection was really cool. I wonder if it works like the Lazarus Pit from DC Comics where the person is changed after being revived. Also, will she take the duties of the Black Sky? We gotta wait a year to find out!

1. The Punisher teaming up with Daredevil
In the final fight of Season 2, we got a little taste of this. The Punisher and Daredevil seem to be on good enough terms for Matt to accept his assistance if he truly needs it. But similarly to Elektra, he can't stop him from killing. The Punisher will make for a great show, just by himself, and him being an anti-hero, riding the edge of hero and villain, would be really cool. I think the first exposition would be having him fight alongside Matt, getting him used to the whole "fight for good" thing. Either way, Jon Bernthal's Punisher needs to make a return in the third season!

Thank you for reading!
